Stripe Terminal Onboarding for Canada
MXM was updated to support onboarding for Stripe terminal models S700 and BBPOS WisePOS E for Priority Global merchants. The UI now allows registration by location, and changes to tip settings apply universally across devices. This expands compatibility for international acquiring in Canada.
Enhancements
Sysnet App Branding Update
The Sysnet app tile in the MX Merchant AppStore was updated to reflect new branding: "PCI Protection by Priority powered by VikingCloud." This modernizes the visual presentation without changing descriptive text.
MX Invoice Recurring Billing Enhancements
MX Invoice now allows editing of recurring billing contracts in active, paused, or pending states. Users can adjust billing schedules and occurrence counts, with live previews and full audit logging for transparency and control.
Stripe Terminal API Support
The Terminal API in MXM now supports full lifecycle management (onboarding, editing, deleting) for Stripe terminals using the Proxy API. This allows seamless interaction with Stripe hardware across the MXM platform.
Stripe PaymentIntent Integration for In-Person Payments
Stripe PaymentIntent support has been integrated into the MXM Terminal API, enabling secure, card-present payments through Stripe terminals. The implementation ensures webhook-driven settlement and complete transaction tracking within MX Merchant.
Bugs and Fixes
Default Terminal IDs for MXM Transactions
Default Terminal IDs were added for MXM host transactions to ensure batch consistency when no terminal ID is provided. Each source type now maps to a predefined terminal ID (e.g., Quick Pay = MXMQP001).
QuickPay Heading Label Fix
The confirmation window heading during QuickPay transactions was corrected from “CONFIRM PAYMENT” to “QUICK PAY” for better branding consistency in the MXM UI.
