Features

MXM Level 2 and Level 3 Field Validations

Improvements have been made to the validation process for fields in the MX Merchant UI related to Level 2 and Level 3 data. Previously, incorrect data could disrupt daily settlement files, impacting merchant funding. Fields are now validated for character limits, types, and whether blanks are allowed. Validation errors now display user-friendly messages.

Fraud Detection for Rapid Refund Detection

To counter fraudulent activities involving rapid refunds, a new limit has been introduced for the number of refunds merchants can process within two minutes. If the limit is exceeded, the account's refund functionality is temporarily disabled, with a warning to contact customer support.

Enhancements to MXM Boarding API for PIN Debit

The MX Merchant Boarding API now supports retrieving and storing PIN Debit entitlements from MX Connect. This enhancement allows seamless processing of PIN Debit payments, opening additional transaction routes through Visa's SMS rails.

Enhancements

Fraud Detection for Daily Refund Limits

Daily refund limits are now enforced to prevent excessive refund transactions. If merchants exceed the limit, their refund capabilities are locked, and attempts to process refunds trigger a warning with instructions to contact support.

Payments Source Filter: Add "MCBPS"

"MCBPS" has been added as an option in the Source filter on the Payments UI, improving usability and aligning with the partnership with MasterCard Track BPS.

Enhancements to MXM Boarding API for EBT Entitlements

The API now retrieves and stores Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) entitlements, including EBT Cash Benefits, EBT Food Stamps, and the EBT FNS Number. Updates to merchant entitlements in MX Connect are automatically synchronized.
