Features

Plastiq Tile in MXM App Store

A new Plastiq tile has been added to the MXM App Store, positioned between the MX Merchant and MX Invoice tiles. The tile features a Register button that directs users to the Plastiq registration page and includes hover text highlighting Plastiq’s B2B payment platform capabilities.
Key details:

  • Auto-activated for all users; no setup required
  • Matches Plastiq branding, color codes, and icon specifications
  • Consistent with MXM App Store design and functionality
This addition gives merchants easy access to Plastiq’s payment services directly from MX Merchant.

Enhancements

New Banner Flow — Pending Items

The MX Merchant onboarding flow has been refined to resolve pending banner display issues.
Key improvements include:

  • A Congratulations banner now displays correctly for duplicate EIN merchants entering via the Priority Capital route
  • Proper handling for both new and existing account opt-in flows
  • Resolved display lag causing delayed banner appearance on the Priority Capital page
These changes provide a smoother, more responsive onboarding experience and ensure accurate merchant messaging.

Bugs and Fixes

Recurring Reports — Date Filters Not Working

The date filters in the Recurring tab now function correctly for all predefined and custom ranges, including This Week, This Month, Last 7 Days, and Last 30 Days. Exported data matches the filtered results displayed in-app, eliminating previous mismatches and ensuring accurate, consistent reporting.

Bill Now Contracts — Start Date Preserved After 8 PM

The Bill Now feature now correctly respects the selected contract start date, even for contracts created after 8 PM EST. This fix prevents:

  • Unintended start date shifts
  • Double billing or duplicate charges
  • Altered billing cycles and delivery delays
Contracts now activate exactly as scheduled, ensuring consistent billing intervals for merchants in all time zones.

Contracts — Current Date Creation Restored

Resolved an issue preventing the creation of contracts with the current start date. The root cause was a mismatch between UTC-based dates from MX Merchant and the SQL Server’s EST-based date validation.
Fixes include:

  • Standardizing all date comparisons to UTC
  • Ensuring valid same-day start dates pass validation regardless of merchant location or time zone
Merchants can now reliably create contracts with a start date of “today.”
